To ensure smooth and efficient functioning of Purchase departments in line with Objectives of organization.

Responsible for efficient purchasing of inventory, supplies, and capital equipment. Receives purchase requisitions and verifies for accuracy and authorization(s). Periodically evaluates vendors/suppliers and advises when vendors are not meeting requirements. Evaluates and recommends new/substitute vendors, when necessary.

To ensure effective negotiations of Contracts, agreements, with Service providers including transport agencies, warehousing partners, suppliers. etc. To renew contracts/agents from time to time.

Actively promote and champion the use of best practice to ensure compliance with the organizations policies and procedures and safety policy.

Liaising with Govt Authorities like Customs, FDA (ADC), Port authorities DGFT, DCGI etc. for actions.
